Best 5 Brunch & Dessert Spots in Seongsu

If you’re planning a slow day around Yeonmujang-gil in Seongsu and want that “Seoul local” brunch vibe, this list will help you plan a full course. From famous French toast to fusion Korean and even healthy Greek yogurt dessert at the end, you can easily fill one whole day just eating here.

1. STANDARD BREAD – For Cream Brulee French Toast

📍 From Seongsu Station Exit 3, about 8 minutes on foot

⏰ 09:00 – 21:00 (last order 20:30)

✔ Recommended: Cream Brulee French Toast, Truffle Mushroom Soup, Chestnut Soup

This place blew up after Jisoo from Blackpink visited, so the line is still no joke. I really recommend using the app “Tabling” for remote waiting, otherwise you’ll just stand outside staring at other people’s toast.

Their signature cream brulee French toast comes out on a hot iron plate, so the edges stay warm and a bit caramelized while the inside is soft and sweet. Perfect if you like proper dessert-style brunch. The soups are on the thinner side but very smooth with deep flavor.

If you like sweeter combos, go for French toast + chestnut soup.

If you prefer something more savory, French toast + truffle mushroom soup works better.

They’re also famous for their bread, not just brunch plates, so I always grab a loaf to take home.

Bread baking schedule:

– Brioche: every hour from 09:00–20:00

– Soft sandwich loaves: 1st batch 09:00 / 2nd batch 13:00

– Hard breads: between 11:30–13:30, coming out one by one

2. ANDMEAL – Long-time Local Panini Favorite

📍 From Seongsu Station Exit 4, about 6 minutes on foot

⏰ 11:00 – 20:00 (last order 19:00)

✔ Recommended: Basil Cream Sweet Potato Panini, Chicken & Avocado Panini

✔ Dogs allowed inside

This is one of those Seongsu brunch spots that locals have loved for years. There’s almost always a wait, but honestly the panini are worth it.

Basil Cream Sweet Potato Panini

The basil aroma hits you as soon as you bite in, and the sweet-salty combo with the creamy sweet potato is super filling. If it’s your first time, I’d say start with this.

Chicken & Avocado Panini

Rye bread stuffed with chicken breast, avocado and tomato, plus a slightly spicy seasoning and sauce. The base flavor is mild but that little kick keeps it from being boring.

If you visit as two people, order both and swap half-and-half. That’s what we did and we were both happy and completely full.

3. VERTI SANDWICH – New Spot with Terrace and Dogs

📍 From Seongsu Station Exit 3, about 9 minutes on foot

⏰ 09:00 – 19:00 (last order 18:30)

✔ Recommended: Verti Sandwich

✔ Dogs allowed on the terrace

This is a pretty new brunch cafe on Yeonmujang-gil. I first went here on a sponsored visit, but honestly I’d go back on my own without thinking twice.

Their Verti Sandwich looks very simple, but inside there’s apple jalapeño, which sounds strange but works so well. That sweet-spicy crunch is the key point and makes the whole sandwich more interesting.

The terrace is really cute and dog friendly, so if you’re coming with your pup, try to grab an outside seat when the weather cools down a bit. I’m already planning a fall visit just to sit there with an iced coffee and a sandwich.

4. NOS SEONGSU – Fusion Korean Brunch

📍 From Seongsu Station Exit 3, about 3 minutes on foot

⏰ 11:30 – 21:30

✔ Break time: 15:30 – 17:00

✔ Last order: 20:00

✔ Recommended: Chamnamul Pasta, Kadaif Tteokbokki

When people say brunch, most think of bread and eggs, but if you prefer Korean flavors, I really recommend NOS. The name stands for “Nothing ordinary, something special,” and it’s exactly that kind of fusion Korean place.

The interior and plating both feel a bit more restaurant-like than cafe, so it’s good for a slightly nicer meal too.

Chamnamul Pasta

Light and aromatic pasta using chamnamul (Korean wild greens). Not heavy, so it works well as daytime brunch without making you sleepy.

Kadaif Tteokbokki

This one is fun: crispy kadaif pastry wrapped around tteokbokki inside. It’s not too salty or too spicy, so even people who can’t handle Korean spice can enjoy it. I liked that it felt familiar but still new.

5. LAZY YOGURT SEONGSU – Healthy Greek Yogurt Dessert

Now, if you still have space after all that bread and pasta, here’s one more spot from a different day: a Greek yogurt cafe that works both as dessert and light brunch.

Lazy Yogurt Seongsu is not in the main “hot” alley, but on the first floor of Seongsu A-One Knowledge Industry Center (room 104). The best part for me as a driver: easy parking. Way less stressful than circling the tiny Seongsu streets. (https://lazyyogurt.com)

Inside is small and cozy, with around 10 seats. A lot of people just grab take-out. On one side you can see the yogurt kitchen where they make everything themselves. Their Greek yogurt is organic and cold-fermented for 72 hours, so the texture is thick and the flavor is clean without weird additives.

The menu is surprisingly big. You can order at the kiosk or directly after checking the board.

My friend picked a “single” bowl with Greek yogurt, banana, blueberries, seasonal fruit, granola and honey. We asked for extra granola because we both love crunch. For the yogurt flavor he chose Lotus, which gave a gentle cookie sweetness without being too sugary.

I went for the acai bowl (10,900 won) and honestly was shocked how good it was. I didn’t expect to find such a solid acai bowl in Seoul. The base had a nice tang, toppings were generous with fresh banana, blueberries and fig, plus nuts and granola for texture. Honey on top made it sweet but still felt like “healthy sweet,” not guilty sweet.

We shared everything with our baby using a tiny spoon, and even the baby kept opening their mouth for more. Next time I kind of want to order two acai bowls just for myself.

If you want something lighter than cake after a meal, or a healthy brunch that still feels like a treat, this place is perfect.

Final Thoughts

Seongsu honestly has too many brunch spots, but around Yeonmujang-gil these four places already give you a full course: classic brunch, panini, sandwiches, and fusion Korean. Add Lazy Yogurt at the end for a not-so-guilty dessert, and your Seongsu day is pretty much complete.

If you’re planning a visit, maybe pick one bread-focused place, one savory Korean-style spot, then finish with Greek yogurt. Your stomach will be busy, but in a good way.
